FAQ about hitch-hiking in Croatia

I'm an Australian who spent several weeks travelling through Croatia. For the first week or so I only took the bus, but after that I was hitching there and felt comfortable with it. It is not the most rewarding country to hitch in though, the language problem makes it hard to talk a lot with the drivers, and it is not simple to travel long distances.

But I have to add that it's an excellent country to travel through! Especially Dubrovnik, Zagreb and the Dalmatian Coast and islands. And I never saw such good looking girls as in Croatia.

For an Australian, the visa was free and issued as you arrive in the
country. Not sure how it is for USA and other countries..
