23-24 11 2002 Club's member Jurate Zygelyte took part in international hitch-hikers' meeting in Tallinn (Estonia) "Baltic Hitch-hiking Party". Meeting was organized by Russian hitch-hikers Anna Ospennikova (Tallinn) and Alexandr Netuzhilov (Saint Petersburg). 20 hitch-hikers from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Russia.

05-06 10 2002 The 6th birthday of the club took place in Klabiniai, Moletai district. 13 people took part in this festival. 2 of them were inaugurated novices and 2 - guests from Saint Petersburg. The best male traveller of the year was announced club's member Robert Prins and best female member Lina Jokubauskaite.

18 09 2002 General meeting of the club took place. Club's President Vytautas Kraujalis left this position. Meeting decided to change the management structure of the club and from this date decission making authority between general meetings is club's Board, which consists of 3 members. Everyday rootine jobs will be performed by administrator. New club's board - Vladas Sapranavicius, Lina Jokubauskaite and Andrius Sytas. Administrator - Vilma Nevulyte.

02-31 08 2002 Club's member Andrius Jankaitis and Milda travelled in Russia (Ural&Sayan mountains, Siberia&Baikal lake). The route was Vilnius (LT) - Rezekne (LV) - Moscow (RUS) - Nizhniy Novgorod - Kazan - Ufa - Chelyabinsk - Yuzhno-Ural'sk - Yekaterinburg - Tyumen - Krasnoyarsk - Irkutsk - Lake Baikal (Circum-Baikal railway) - Irkutsk - Vladimir - Moscow (RUS) - Rezekne (LV) - Vilnius (LT). Totaly they hitch-hiked about 4000 km. and 8000 km. by train! Also they have visited famous Russian hitch-hiker and travellers.

05-29 07 2002 Augustas Kligys traveled by trains in China. He visited VHHC's friend from Latvia - Laura in Shanghai. Also he went to South of China and Beijing.

28 04 - 13 05 2002 Club's members Vladas Sapranavicius and Inga Garnyte - Sapranaviciene travelled in Russia, mostly in the Caucasus mountains. The goal of the trip was Georgia, but travellers were not allowed to leave Russia, because land border between RUS and GEO could be crossed just by citizens of CIS countries and GEO. So hitchers visited Nalchik, Vladikavkaz, Elbrus, Piatigorsk, Kislovodsk. Totaly they hitch-hiked 2700 km (Vilnius - Rezekne - Moscow, Rostov on Don - Piatigorsk - Nalchik - GEO border - Vladikavkaz - Elbrus - Piatigorsk - Nalchik, Riga - Vilnius). Also they have visited famous Russian hitch-hiker and writer Anton Krotov in Moscow.

03 25 - 04 15 2002 Club's member Andrius Sytas travelled to Yugoslavia and Kosovo province. He was the first member of Vilnius Hitch-hiking Club, who has visited this country. The route of expedition was Vilnius - Budapest - Holloko -Budapest - Novy Sad - Beograd - Pristina - Pec - Podgorje - Dubrovnik - Wien - Katowice - Warszawa - Vilnius.

27 12 2001 - 06 01 2002 Club's members Vladas Sapranavicius and Inga Garnyte travelled in West Europe. They have visited Poland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Vatican City, San Marino, Lichtenstain, Switzerland. All the trip was about 6000 km long.
