Hitch-hiking conference

Participants: 13 hitch-hikers from Russia, Lithuania, Poland, Holland and
Bosnia
The idea of the first conference belongs to Vladas
Sapranavicius (President of VHHC) and Alexey Vorov (President of Saint Petersburg
Autostop League). Any other clubs were invited. So there were 3 hitchers from PASL (Alexey
Vorov, Sonya and Denis Petrov), 4 hitchers from VHHC (Vladas Sapranavicius, Augustas Kligys, Jovita Garnyte and Edvardas Sakalauskas), 3 hitchers
from The Netherlands (Daan Toner, Sahin Sisic and Erik N. (journalist). Also there were
some persons from Poland State travellers organisation.
Alexey Vorov advertised his project "World
Hitch-hikers Trophy". Daan Toner presented his book "Europese
Liftersgid" ("Hitch-hikers Guide to Europe").
After Vladas Sapranavicius offered an idea of creation of International
Hitch-hiking Association.
After the conference hitchers went to a PUB in Old Town.
