19 03 2008 - The first air-hitch case in the club

The first air-hitch case in VHHC's history was registered today, according to club's member Augustas Kligys's information. In this photo you may see VHHC's members Augustas Kligys and Katja Lachmann beside "hitched" aircraft. The ride was from Iquitos to Lima in Peru.
We would like to remind you that the same club's members have been hitchhiking in South America last year for the first time in VHHC's history. It was the 5th continent on the club's account. So far no one has hitchhiked in Australia and Antarctida. |

After visiting Hong Kong and Macau club members Andrius and Vita arrived to SE Asia. First stop in Singapore. Later they are planning go to Malaysia (Melaka, Kuala Lumpur). |

12 01 2008 - Dainius back from Turkey

VHHC member Dainius Kinderis just returned from his trip in Turkey where he travelled from Istanbul via Troy to Izmir and then Cesme via Bursa back to Istanbul.
In Izmir Dainius facilitated first ever HH competition in Turkey, from Izmir to Cesme, where 11 teams took place from 9 countries. |

06 11 2007 - Autumn trip in CZ/SK
|
In the beginning of November VHHC organized hitchhiking trip to Czech Rep. and Slovakia. With club member Andžej were travelling other five hitchhikers. Firstly, travellers visited South Moravia region in Czech Rep., then hiked about 40 km in Velka Fatra National Park in Low Tatras, Slovakia.

18 10 2007 - Vladas Sapranavicius in Iran

Club's member Vladas Sapranavicius has hitch-hiked in Iran on 14-18 October. The route was Shiraz - Esfahan - Yazd - Bafgh - Yazd. The hitch-hiking part is over now. He will countinue his route by train to holy city Qom and capital Tehran now. |
