VHHC member Dainius Kinderis after one month spent in Ghana yesterday arrived to new country - Togo. Visa received on border, 22 USD plus a compulsory 2 USD gift to officers... He is staying in Lome now, till weekend, then head to Benin and Nigeria. |

After another failure to get senegalese visa, VHHC member Dainius Kinderis arrived to new country - Burkina Faso. He is visiting capital Ouagadougou and Bobo, before going to Ghana. Visa to Ghana received today. 30 USD for 90 days. |

After crossing non-existing border between Mauritania and Mali, and 250 km tough hitchhking with no roads and no cars Dainius arrived to Bamako and remain here till be granted with visa of Senegal. |

18 10 2006 - Dainius expedition to Africa

Today starts Dainius expedition to Africa. Trip goal: to reach all 4 extreme projections of the Africa ( westernmost point in Senegal, Southernmost in RSA, easterly point in Somalia (Puntland) and northernmost in Tunisia. Dainius intend to visit 30 to 40 countries, travel overland through Sachara, get deep into jungles in Central Africa, catch chameleons in Madagascar, follow the footsteps of Livingstone and Stanley at the Tanganyika lake, run marathon around Mt.
